Guðrún Þöll Torfadóttir is a multidisciplinary designer with a B.S. in Mechatronics Engineering from Reykjavik University. Gudrun went into engineering after being inspired by the movie Iron Man, after finishing her degree she felt her projects lacked aesthetics and user experience. She moved to New York and graduated with a MFA in product design from School of Visual Arts.
